AIRTEC has developed a solution to the original small, deep intercooler positioned to the left-hand side of the radiator with a stepped core design, allowing a 42% increase in overall capacity and an increased frontal area to maximise airflow.
CAD-designed, moulded one-piece end tanks ensure air flows efficiently in and out of the intercooler, while an additional air scoop directs maximum airflow to the core, following the principles of the original design. This allows the intercooler to handle extended periods of high performance driving, keeping intake temperatures lower and consistent.
Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black, the kit is a direct replacement and includes a Pro Hoses silicone top pipe, with the lower connection attaching to the original boost pipe and clip. The package also comes complete with all fixtures, fittings, and detailed step-by-step instructions for an easy installation.
