McGill retaining circlips have been stamped out of sheet metal. These are designed for use with our range of imperial sized bearings and housings. These are commonly used in motorsport and on industrial equipment.
28mm external circlips for the retention of bearings, gears, pulleys etc. It is suitable for the majority of normal engineering applications, providing a rigid, yet tough, load bearing shoulder on a shaft.
Standard material:
The standard material for most circlips and retaining clips is carbon spring steel (CS). All circlips made from this material are austempered so as to give optimum ductility at the high hardness values necessary for correct function.

Circlip can be installed/removed with the use of circlip pliers. These circlips have been designed to use with 28mm OD Tube.
